ISSUES 1 AND 2 PASSING

We did it once again Ohio! For the second time this year, we showed our state legislature that no one can deny the power of a community united. Government overreach into personal and private decisions will not be tolerated in Ohio or anywhere in our country and we will fight day and night for our rights!

Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and Independents came together across the state to protect our freedoms and we won again. Showing that there's no power like the power of the people! Together we refused to go backward.

Now with abortion rights are enshrined in the Ohio constitution, women can officially have the freedom to determine their own reproductive health care decisions. Doctors will have the opportunity to take part in these practices without the fear of being prosecuted and for once this year in the best interest of their patients and no longer will we put women needlessly at risk.

As an activist dedicated and fighting for our freedoms seeing abortion rights pass gives me hope. But seeing the decriminalization of Cannabis gives me more hope in our electoral ways. This is a victory for all of us. Ohio's Issue 2 passage will make us the 24th State to promote safe use of cannabis while reducing the barriers that target Black and brown people. Ending the systemic prison pipeline for cannabis use.

We are strong Ohio! We are warriors!

Now heading into the 2024 elections let this new battle be no different than 2023. Ohioans need to fight and not be part of the Republican lies, attacks, tricks that are made to strip us of our freedoms.

I'm proud of us Ohio!  Let's keep doing good!
